Can i persuade sprint into giving me a phone thats on sale for $100 into giving it to me for free?

i will be a sprint 1st time customer and the phone i want cost $99 in there stores. but best buy,radio shack,target and wirefly,have it for free. and walmart.com and letstalk have it for $9.99. one sprint rep over the phone said he could give it to me for $24. do you think if i call back i can find someone to give me the phone for free at sprint? and if so could i just pay my deposit over the phone with them then go pick my phone up tomorrow? will i have a problem in-store?
